SUPPLY LIST

List of Puppy Supplies:

The first few days with a puppy are memorable!  Having these items on hand will help create a smooth transition! I love chewy.com for items and food.  They delivery directly to your door.  I also like PetEdge.com for items and TJ MAXX.

food storage
Food Storage: You are paying a lot for the feed so lock in freshness and flavor with Vittles Vault Originals food storage containers. Stackable units are easy-to-clean and dishwasher safe. Impact-resistant plastic won’t shatter.
bed
Beds: I strongly suggest you purchase a bed for your new family member.
bowl
Bowls: Stainless steel dishes feature a raised center that pushes food to the outer rim where it’s easier for puppies to reach.
hARNESS
HARNESS: Havanese puppys are small, therefore, I don’t recommend collars. The size harness you will want will be extra small (up to 4 pound pup) or small (4-8 pound pup).  You will also need a leash.
PEEPEE PADS
YOUR NEW PUPPY HAS BEEN USING A PEEPEE PAD (OR AS i CALL THEM TEETEE PAD), i PLACE NEWSPAPER ON TOP TO DIVERT OR REDUCE THE DESIRE TO SHRED.
tOYS
TOYS, TOYS AND TOYS…You want your new puppy to have fun. Given toys he will learn to chew on the right things. Havanese love anything that squeaks or crinkles. DO NOT GIVE RAWHIDE TO A PUPPY!
PLASTIC CRATE: Ventilation on all five sides ensures that pets always get a breath of fresh air. Also pick one out that offers screw downs front and back. This will make it airline ready.
